Mrs. Kirkpatrick’s Update
Year 11
This has been a busy half term with pupils concentrating on completing coursework and preparing for their Mock Speaking Test. There were some fantastic performances so well done to all those pupils who prepared so carefully and worked so well!
Year 10
We have focused this half term on the subject of school and have covered such topics as uniform, future educational plans and subject preferences. Pupils need to make sure that they complete their “Carte Postale” over the Christmas holidays. Bon Voyage to Emily Scott who is leaving for Australia

After working so hard on the past tense this term we have now moved on to the topic of daily routine. Try not to forget your reflexive verbs over the holidays!
9.5
We have been looking at leisure activities this term and focusing on the topic of cinema. Pupils have recently been designing posters to advertise their favourite films.
Year 8
Year 8 pupils should all now be experts on the weather after concentrating on La Meteo this half term. We have looked at how to describe the weather in different countries and regions and the sort of activities we like to do in do in different weather conditions.
Year 7
Year 7 have worked hard this term and we have covered a whole range of topics including colours, dates, days of the week, the French alphabet and numbers. Pupils are now able to take part in simple conversations and give some basic information about themselves. Use Linguascope over the holidays to practise and revise the work we have done.
Joyeux Noel et Bonne annee!
